LILIA

23 March 2013

Although the name of my blog has changed, the reasoning behind initially calling it "Come What May And Love It" hasn't. I really love looking at the moments in life that are awesome but the aim of the game is to look at ones that are not so awesome, and love them anyways :)

Let's Play.

Love It

  • The weather was really great for a while, and people were seriously loving the sun. Spring is definitely on it's way.
  • I watched Parent Trap last night, and I remembered why I'm SO glad that the early 2000s are over. WAY OVER. in terms of fashion.
  • I had a fantastic conversation with mummy on Friday, and I always love those seeing as she's so far away.
  • I am grateful for Whatsapp and the audio note function it has. Seriously. Spontaneous singing messages from my cousin? Priceless.
  • I am really grateful for weekends and the ability I have to sleep without setting an alarm.

Love It Anyways
  • While I said spring is on it's way, it's definitely not here yet. There was a blizzard of sorts on Thursday night BUT apparently the weather is exactly the same back home in London so that definitely makes me feel less homesick!
  • As per my usual LILIA posts (i just made that acronym up.), school is a huge factor on the love it anyways. School is really starting to snowball now, however I LOVE what I'm learning! I'm really starting to feel like a pre-med student, and the further I delve into my studies, the stronger my testimony in my beliefs becomes! That is such an amazing feeling for me, because I often see that the more "educated" people become, the more they seem to forsake their belief in God. Weird.
  • I have no more black skinny jeans. Whilst this may seem like a trivial matter, if you knew me, you'd know that the perfect black skinny is the staple piece to my wardrobe. You can literally wear those babies with ANYTHING! It's been a struggle trying to salvage the remnants of my jeans, but as I learned last night it is pretty much impossible to do the Dougie, Cat Daddy or the Jerk with a hole in your trousers. Impossible. HOWEVER, all this means is that I'm forced to be more adventurous with using colour in my wardrobe (of which there isn't much) and I guess that's good for me!

I usually end with one more Love It, so here it is...

On Friday amidst my studying for Anatomy, I decided to splurge and grab a smoothie, the smoothie guy "accidentally" made too much and gave me an extra half smoothie for free.

Yay for smoothie guys who are overly impressed with British accents.

Yay for the possession of a British accent.
